    Robert M. Callan, Partner
Bob Callan has over thirty years experience in senior executive search. He has personally completed assignments for companies throughout North America, Asia and Europe. Mr. Callan was previously with Hoffmann-LaRoche, a major international pharmaceutical manufacturer. Later, he was with the management consulting firm Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Inc. in New York and Chicago and was a Senior Vice President & Partner with Spencer Stuart. Bob founded Callan Associates, Ltd. in 1982.

Bob has been nominated by clients and peers as one of the leading executive recruiters in North America in The New Career Makers.

Bob received a Bachelor of Science degree from Fordham University and an MBA from New York University. He was a Company Commander in the U.S. Army.

 

 
    Elizabeth C. Beaudin, Partner
Elizabeth Beaudin began her executive search career with another leading national search firm. Since joining Callan Associates in 1988, she has conducted senior level assignments for clients in the industrial products, consumer products, insurance, healthcare and consumer durable goods industries. Her experience includes work with both Fortune 500 companies as well as smaller, privately-held organizations.

Ms. Beaudin’s focus has been on general management, human resources, marketing & sales, manufacturing and senior level strategic sourcing, purchasing and supply chain management positions including Chief Purchasing Officer.

Ms. Beaudin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Loras College (Dubuque, Iowa). She also attended Richmond College in London, England. Elizabeth is a member of the Institute for Supply Management (ISM).

 

 
    Marianne C. Ray, Partner
Marianne Ray joined Callan Associates in 1990 after eight years of financial services experience as Vice President with Bank of America and Bowne & Company in Chicago.

Throughout her extensive career in executive recruiting, she has provided outstanding consulting services to a variety of clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to startups. She has successfully completed numerous Chief Executive Officer, President, Chief Operating Officer and other executive level assignments for a variety of prestigious client organizations. She has directed search activities in all key functional areas and her industry experience includes industrial products, consumer products, healthcare and financial services.

Ms. Ray received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Marketing from Saint Mary's College (Notre Dame, Indiana) and an MBA with concentrations in Finance and Accounting from DePaul University (Chicago).

 

 
    Robert M. Callan, Jr., Partner
Bob Callan joined Callan Associates as a Partner in 2002. Prior to joining the firm, Bob held finance and marketing positions with units of ConAgra, Citigroup and Bank of America. He brings twenty years of experience in corporate finance and has developed an extensive network of relationships with numerous domestic and international corporations. The experience and skills gained throughout his career have given him an in-depth understanding of the opportunities and challenges businesses encounter in a variety of industries and competitive environments.

Since joining Callan Associates, Bob has successfully completed senior level finance, marketing, sales, operations, supply chain, R&D and human resource assignments in a variety of industries. Many of these clients are world renowned as the best managed companies in American industry.

Bob received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Marketing from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business with concentrations in Finance and Accounting.

 

 
    Margaret C. Delaney, Director
Margaret Delaney joined Callan Associates with a unique skill set in healthcare recruitment. Ms. Delaney was with Children’s Memorial Hospital, an affiliate of Northwestern Memorial Medical Center (Chicago), for fifteen years where she progressed from Registered Nurse to become a Nurse Practitioner. While at Children’s, Ms. Delaney held several leadership roles including Clinical Educator, Chair of the Purchasing & Products Committee and a member of the Best Practice, Education and Research Committees. Margaret also worked with several drug companies, assisting in clinical drug trials and all facets of drug trial research including patient recruitment. In addition, she was a faculty member of Loyola University’s School of Nursing (Chicago) where she was responsible for the Senior Clinical Pediatric Course of the curriculum.

Since joining Callan Associates, Margaret has focused on the recruitment needs of all segments of the healthcare industry -- hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers and not-for-profit agencies.

Ms. Delaney received a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Loyola University and a Master’s of Science from DePaul University. She is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and a member of the American Nurses Association (ANA), the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the Institute for Supply Management (ISM).

 

 
    Caren R. Truhlar, Director
Caren Truhlar joined Callan Associates in 1997 and focuses on business development and executive search research strategy. As the firm's Director of Research, she has participated in over two hundred successfully completed search assignments across most functions and industries.

Ms. Truhlar's previous experience includes more than thirteen years with the management consulting firm Booz, Allen & Hamilton where she worked closely with Board Directors and other corporate officers in a number of Fortune 500 industrial and consumer product organizations.

Caren earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and attended the University of Wisconsin (Madison, Wisconsin) and Elmhurst College (Elmhurst, Illinois). Caren is a member of The Research Roundtable.
